A track that stood from this album was the track Nihilism. Angelos Ioannidis’ vocals are very unique in heavy metal as a whole, and to have such a range in clean vocals makes this Doom Metal band much different than many others. He can really hit the high notes. And let’s not forget the technical guitar work by Kostas Salomidis and Giannis Tziligkakis. Their guitar work represent a more progressive feel mixed with the dark, Doom Metal feel. These guys are definitely not your typical Doom Metal band.

     Best part of this album is the few flaws it has. The only major downside to it is simply that some metalheads just aren’t into the Doom Metal crowd, which is okay! There simply is no problem with any of the musicianship with this album, and the vocals are some of the most skilled vocals in modern metal. Maybe some people aren’t into the whole technical side of metal. Other than those small points, this album is clearly a great album

This album exceeds expectations of fans of Doom metal. The clean vocals hints towards a more Power Metal-like sound, which offers uniqueness to this genre. Clean vocals in Doom Metal are generally hard to come by, and is always a treat to hear them rather than death growls. The instruments do not always play the slow tempo patterns, and at times will speed up, giving it a different feel.

      Sorrows Path redefines the meaning of Doom Metal. They mix it up with different tempos, and the use of clean vocals with such a vast range in it. These Grecian metallers are pioneers in what they do in metal. Even if you are not a fan of Doom Metal, give this album a chance. You will be glad that you did.
